How to feed

Parrots are omnivores, which means that they can eat both meat and vegetation. Most parrots eat a diet that contains nuts, flowers, fruit, buds, seeds and insects. Seeds are their favorite food. They have strong jaws that allow them to snap open nutshells to get to the seed that's inside. To care for your parrot, make sure to give it fresh food and water every day. Parrots should be fed a varied diet of nuts, fruits, and vegetables, but make sure not to give it avocado or onion, which are toxic for parrots.

While feeding

1. Pellets

pellets are made up of a combination of fruits, vegetables, grains, and seeds, they have a very high nutritional value.

2. Fresh fruits and Vegetables

apples, broccoli, collard greens, and peaches. Whichever type of fruit or vegetable you choose to feed your parrot, make sure that you wash it thoroughly with fresh water before feeding (above ,pellets are also made by fruits and vegetables - so reduce the amount  of fruits and vegetables if you use pellets regularly) some fruits may stain your bird’s droppings.

3. Nuts

They are high in protein and other vitamins and minerals, but are also high in fat. Because of the high fat content, you should feed them to your parrot in moderation.

4. Meat (cooked chicken)

Parrots are omnivores, so they can have meat in their diet as well. Cooked chicken is a healthy meat source for your parrot.

5. Pure Water

Change out his water bowl twice a day, or whenever you see that it has a lot of food particles in it.

6. Seeds

It still provides some nutritional value that is good for your parrot.
